Overthinking

“The storm in my mind is ruining the garden which my soul holds.” “What if?” “Did I sound rude?” “Will I succeed?” “Was it correct?” replaying every word, every moment, every conversation is tiring isn’t it? Overthinking is the art of creating problems that don’t exist. Everyone does not have the habit but the one who does, knows how problematic and tiring this is. It does not kill you but instead it takes away your quite mind, and the way you see the world. Making you stay up at night for hours which is the biggest waste of human energy. You imagine things that may never happen and rake up chaos in your life. You think of the worst-case scenario possible, making you doubt your closest friends, family and your own trustworthy people which ultimately causes trust issues, loneliness and mental fatigue. You feel empty and hopeless. Wasting your precious today by overthinking is simply not the way to live. It won’t change how an individual sees you or how they treat you, it won’t promise you a stable future. Never rationalize yourself into thinking that you are just being aware of your surroundings and thinking of several future outcomes. There is a huge difference between ‘being aware of your surrounding’ and ‘overthinking’ that you should understand. So, let the thoughts come but do not overthink and accept the reality. Remember one day the storm will run out of rain.
