A Session on CPR for Classes XI and XII

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a hands-on emergency intervention used to restore heartbeats and breathing in someone who has gone into cardiac arrest.

On 18th October 2023, the students of classes 11th and 12th received  hands on experience on giving CPR. The secession was conducted by Save Live Programme in support from Dr. Parushni, from MDM Hospital. Dr Parushni  explained the difference between cardiac arrest and heart attack to the   students and taught them to recognise the signs of cardiac arrest and then provide  first aid that could save a precious life.

The children performed a practical on mannequins under the guidance of the doctor and the volunteers from Save Life Programme.
