REMARKABLE PERFORMANCE AT BODHI FEST
- Wed,06 Aug 2025
Our school team recently participated in Bodhi Fest, held on the 25th and 26th of July. The event featured a diverse array of competitions, and we proudly took part in five of them.
Bodhi Fest was an incredible experience — not just for me, but for our entire school team. Despite having only two days to prepare, we delivered performances that we can all truly be proud of.
Our school had a particularly strong showing, securing 1st place in the Maths Quiz, thanks to the brilliant team of Prakriti Nag (IX-C), Lakshaya Agarwal (X-E), Darsh Kumar Sharma (XI-A), and S. Abhinav Prasath (XII-A). We also bagged 1st place in the Science Quiz, with Nabhay Gupta (XII-A), Prateek Jain (XI-B), S. Abhinav Prasath (XII-A), and Virat Maderna (XII-A) forming the winning team. Their efforts were a true reflection of dedication, knowledge, and team spirit — and it was heartening to watch my schoolmates represent us with such confidence and excitement.
Personally, I participated in the News Reporting Event, which turned out to be the highlight of the fest for me. Our team — comprising Akshara (XI-C), Tanishk Kumawat (X-A), Vani Jain (XI-C), and Yash Soni (X-G) — secured 2nd place overall. I was deeply honoured to receive the Best Reporter Award for my individual role. It was a surreal moment — to be recognised for something I genuinely love doing, especially given how little time we had to prepare. Through this experience, I learned the value of thinking on your feet, communicating effectively, and collaborating under pressure.
We also took part in B-Venture, with a dynamic team including Aryan Sighvi (XII-E), Dikshita Gehlot (XII-E), Disha Agrawal (XII-E), Trisha Bhandari (XII-E), Rishi Sighvi (XII-E), and Ridhima Janwani (XII-C). Additionally, App Vision saw representation from Yash Soni (X-G). While these teams did not place in the final rankings, they were commended for their creativity, originality, and the passion with which they pitched their ideas.
In the end, Bodhi Fest was about much more than competition — it was about growth, teamwork, and stepping outside our comfort zones. Though we competed in different events, we were united in our mission: to represent our school with pride, excellence, and heart.
