                                   English Elocution Competition
Poetry is the rhythmic creation of beauty in words. Reciting poems help students develop a
wide range of skills, including enhanced language proficiency, improved memorization,
increased confidence, and better communication abilities. It also fosters creativity,
appreciation for literature, and the ability to express emotions effectively.
The English Elocution Competition was organised on 19th August, 2025 for classes VI and
VII and on 20th August for class VIII to provide students with a platform to showcase their
talent and passion for literature. The event not only encouraged creativity and
self-expression but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the English
language within the school community. It served as a testament to the power of poetry in
inspiring and connecting individuals across diverse backgrounds and interests.
The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm. They recited the poems with
confidence, great expression and rhythm, captivating the audience’s attention. Class VI
enthralled the audience with humour poems while class VII brought out the beauty of nature
through their poems. Class VIII mesmerised everyone with the beautiful poems written by
Indian poets. The students were judged on the parameters of memory, confidence and
pronunciation by the teachers from across the school. The competition was a resounding
success. The little orators won everyone’s heart and were applauded.
